Privacy Policy — Skanora
Publisher: DoliMarketPlace · Last updated: 21 August 2026 · App version: 1.0.0
Skanora processes your documents entirely on your device. Your scans, the recognised text and your PDF files are never transmitted to us or to any third party. No account is required.
The free app does show advertising, supplied by Google AdMob. See the Advertising section below.
Scanned images, recognised text, folders, tags, titles, extracted fields (merchant, date, amount, document number), signatures, settings and vault contents are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are deleted when you uninstall the app. They may be included in your device backups (Google, Apple) if you have enabled them; those backups are governed by those companies' policies.
Your vault PIN is never stored. Only a verifier is kept, from which the PIN cannot be derived. If you forget it, the vault contents are permanently unrecoverable.
Performed by Google ML Kit using models embedded in the app. No image and no text is sent to Google or to us. The app requests no network permission for recognition.
The free app is funded by advertising provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited for the European Economic Area), publisher ID pub-5063236998809648.
What AdMob receives: the device advertising identifier (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS), IP address, device model, operating system, language, country, and interactions with the ad.
What AdMob never receives: your images, the recognised text, your document titles, your thumbnails, your extracted fields, your PIN, or the contents of the vault. None of this leaves the device.
Your control. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form is shown before the first ad; you can change your choice at any time in Settings > About > Ad privacy options. On iOS, a separate App Tracking Transparency prompt asks permission to use the IDFA — declining keeps every feature working, and ads become non-personalised. On Android, Settings > Google > Ads lets you delete the advertising identifier. An active Premium subscription removes all advertising.
Ads are never loaded on the scanning, cropping, signature, vault, onboarding or subscription screens.
Google's policies: policies.google.com/privacy and how AdMob uses data.
Both disabled by default. If you enable them (Settings > Security), only anonymous events are sent. The content of your documents, their titles, their thumbnails and the extracted fields are never transmitted, in any case.
Handled by Google Play or the App Store. The publisher receives neither your payment details nor your identity.
Camera (to scan), photo library (to import or save, optional), biometrics (to unlock the vault, optional). On Android the advertising SDK adds com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID. The app requests no location, microphone, phone, contacts or calendar permission.
Google AdMob, for serving and measuring ads, within the limits described above — and no one else. No data is sold, rented or exchanged. Your documents have no recipient: they do not leave the device.
Vault documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the device; the key is derived from your PIN with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (150,000 iterations) and a random per-installation salt; the session key exists in memory only. PDFs can be protected with a password (AES-128, standard PDF security handler).
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data about them. Because it shows advertising, it is not configured as child-directed.
Access and portability (Settings > Account > Export my data), erasure (Delete everything), rectification (everything is editable), objection (statistics switches). As no account is required, the publisher holds no data about you and therefore cannot answer an access request concerning its own servers: everything is on your device.
Any change — in particular enabling remote backup or an AI assistant — will be published on this page with a new date.
