The short version

Obranta creates job reports on your phone. Your reports, your photos, your client list and your company details are stored only on your device, and in the backup folder you choose yourself. There is no account, no server of ours, and nothing is uploaded to DoliMarketPlace. We never see your reports.

Photos and camera

The app opens your camera, or your gallery if you prefer, so you can attach before/after pictures to a report. Those images stay on your device and are embedded in the PDF you generate. They are never sent to us.

Location

If you allow it, Obranta reads your GPS coordinates when you take a photo and when you fill in a site address, so that the report can show where the work was done and so the address field can be filled for you. Coordinates are written into your report and stay with it. Refusing the permission does not block anything: the report is produced without coordinates and the address can always be typed by hand.

Microphone

Dictation is offered on the text fields so you can describe a job without taking your gloves off. Speech recognition is performed by your device's own system service. Obranta does not record audio files and does not store any voice data.

The backup folder

You choose a folder — on the phone, on an SD card, or in a cloud app such as Drive — and Obranta writes a ZIP archive of your reports into it. That folder belongs to you. If you pick a cloud folder, the file is handled by that provider under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Advertising

Obranta shows two kinds of advertisement, and neither of them ever interrupts you: a small banner at the bottom of the screen, and a rewarded video you may choose to watch in order to unlock the sample report. There is no full-screen advertisement and no advertisement on opening.

The banner disappears as soon as you buy the app, immediately and for good — that is part of what the one-time purchase buys. The rewarded video remains available, because you are the one who asks for it.

Advertising is provided by Google AdMob, which may collect your advertising identifier and in-app interaction data in order to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. This processing is carried out by Google, not by DoliMarketPlace. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form is shown before any personalised advertising, and your choice can be changed at any time from the app's settings.

Purchases

Obranta is free to try and can be unlocked by a single one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your card, your name or your billing address. The app only receives the confirmation that the purchase was made.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, a technical report is produced so the defect can be fixed. It contains the error, the device model and the app version — never the content of your reports, your photos or your client list. A copy is kept on the device so you can read it and send it yourself.

Notifications

Obranta can remind you when a backup is overdue. Notifications are local to the device; nothing is sent through a server.

Children

Obranta is a professional tool and is not directed to children.

Your rights

Because everything is stored on your device, you control it directly: delete a report from the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything it holds. The backup folder is yours and is not touched by an uninstall — delete it yourself if you want the archives gone.
