What Numiza does, and what that means for your data

Numiza is a mathematics solver. It reads the problem you type — or the text it reads from a photo you choose — and works out the answer on your device. There is no artificial intelligence service behind it and no server of our own: the whole solver is code that runs inside the app. Turn on airplane mode and it keeps working exactly the same. Nothing you solve is ever sent anywhere.

Data collected by the app

Numiza creates no account and asks for no sign-in, no e-mail address and no date of birth. What it saves between sessions is limited to: your settings (language, appearance, amount of explanation) and your history — that is, the problems you typed. All of it is saved only on your device, and you can delete it at any time from the History screen.

We, as the publisher, collect nothing from this and can read nothing. The history never leaves your phone unless you export it yourself to a file and share it deliberately.

Photos

Taking a photo, or picking one from your library, is entirely optional — the app is fully usable by typing. When you do use it, the picture is read on the device by an offline text-recognition model bundled inside the app. The image is never uploaded, never copied to a server, and is not kept by Numiza: only the recognised text is placed in the input box, where you can correct it before anything is solved.

Permissions, and why each one is asked for

On Android, Numiza declares exactly three permissions:

• INTERNET — used only to load advertising. The solver never uses it.
• CAMERA — optional, and requested only at the moment you tap the photo button.
• VIBRATE — the short tap feedback of the on-screen maths keyboard.

It deliberately does not request: microphone, location, contacts, storage, notifications, exact alarms, the list of installed packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES), any accessibility service, or screen overlay. On iOS, the app asks for camera and photo-library access only when you use the photo feature, and for nothing else.

Advertising

Numiza is free, has no in-app purchase and no subscription. It is funded by advertising, served by Google AdMob. To show ads, Google may collect and process data such as your device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about your interaction with the ads. Google's own practices are described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Advertising is the only part of Numiza that uses the network. It is also deliberately limited: a banner appears on the History and Settings screens only, and a full-screen ad may appear when you open the app — never while you are reading a solution, and never after you solve a problem.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Numiza shows you Google's consent form the first time it runs, and your choice is respected. You can change it at any time from the app's settings.

Children

Numiza is suitable for all ages and is used by school students. It collects no personal information about anyone, whatever their age. Advertising served to users identified as children is restricted by Google's own child-directed treatment settings.

Data we hold about you

None. DoliMarketPlace operates no server for Numiza, holds no account, and stores no problem, photo, result or history. There is therefore nothing for us to disclose, sell, transfer or delete on your behalf. Deleting the app removes everything it saved on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the new version replaces this one here.
