What Klipeza does, and what that means for your data

Klipeza is a video editor. To let you cut, arrange and export a video, it has to read the videos, photos and audio files you choose. It reads and edits them on the device, and only on the device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is copied to a server, and DoliMarketPlace never sees any of your media. The app has no server of its own.

Every part of the editor works with no internet connection: the filters, transitions, fonts, stickers and the encoder are all inside the application. Nothing is downloaded, ever.

Data collected by the app

Klipeza creates no account and asks for no sign-in. What it saves between sessions is limited to: your settings (language, theme, export resolution, frame rate and quality) and your projects. A project is the list of your edits plus a copy of the media you imported. All of it is saved only on your device, inside the application's own storage.

Media files are copied into the project on purpose: it means deleting a video from your gallery never breaks an edit you are working on. Deleting a project deletes those copies with it.

Klipeza does not send file names, file contents, thumbnails, or any list of what you own. We, as the publisher, collect nothing and can read nothing.

Permissions, and why each one is asked for

Klipeza requests permission to read photos, videos and audio (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android versions). Without it, it cannot open the media you want to edit.

The camera and the microphone are used only when you choose to film a clip or record a voice-over from inside the app. Neither is used in the background, and both are optional: the app installs and runs on a device that has neither.

It deliberately does not request: All files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE), the list of every installed package (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES), any accessibility service, screen overlay, location, or contacts. Internet access is requested for advertising only; no editing feature uses the network.

Exported videos

When you export, the finished video is written to your device and saved to your gallery. It carries no watermark, at any resolution, and it is never sent anywhere. What happens to it afterwards is entirely up to you.

Advertising

The app displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data in order to serve and measure ads. This processing is carried out by Google, not by DoliMarketPlace. For details, see Google Advertising and the Google Privacy Policy.

Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are shown a consent screen before personalised advertising is enabled, and can change that choice at any time from the app settings, under Ad privacy choices.

Advertising is kept out of the way of the work: no ad is ever shown while you are editing, and no ad can interrupt an export.

Klipeza has no in-app purchases and no subscription. Every feature is available to everyone, free of charge; advertising is the only source of revenue.

No background activity

Klipeza runs only while it is open. It schedules no alarm, starts no background service, and requests no permission to start at boot. Closing the app stops everything it was doing.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Your rights

You can delete everything Klipeza has stored by deleting your projects, by clearing the app's data in your phone's settings, or by uninstalling the app. Since nothing is sent to us, there is nothing held on our side to request, correct or erase.
