Fokora is a focus timer and task manager. It runs your focus sessions, keeps your tasks, projects, habits, goals and reports, plays ambient sounds and sends you reminders. Every one of those things happens on your device, and only on your device. Fokora has no server of its own, no account system and no synchronisation service. DoliMarketPlace never sees your tasks, your notes, your sessions or your statistics.
Fokora never asks you to create an account or to sign in. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no trial period. Every feature — including session lengths, reports, habits, goals and all ambient sounds — is available to everyone, free of charge. Advertising is what pays for the app.
What Fokora keeps between sessions is limited to: your tasks, subtasks, notes, tags, projects, habits, goals and focus sessions; your settings (language, theme, session lengths, sounds, notification preferences); and the ambient sound files the app generates on your phone the first time you play them. All of it is stored in the application's private storage and is removed when you uninstall the app. You can also erase everything at any moment from Settings → Data → Delete all my data.
Fokora can export your data as a JSON or CSV file. That export goes only where you send it, through your phone's own sharing menu. Fokora does not upload it anywhere, and no copy is kept.
End-of-session alerts, task reminders and habit reminders are scheduled locally by your phone. No notification content leaves your device, and none of it passes through a server.
Fokora contains no audio recordings. Every ambience and every alert tone is calculated by the app on your device the first time you use it. Nothing is downloaded, and no audio is ever recorded, captured or transmitted. Fokora does not request microphone access.
Fokora does not read the list of applications installed on your device and cannot block, close or monitor any other app. The optional "distraction warning" setting works only by noticing that Fokora itself was put in the background during a session; it uses no special permission and sees nothing outside Fokora.
Fokora displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data in order to serve and measure ads. Ads never appear during a focus session, in immersive mode, or on the timer screen.
Where the law requires it (European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland), Fokora shows Google's consent form before any personalised advertising, and you can reopen your choices at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices. On iOS, Fokora also asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before initialising ads; if you decline, ads are served without tracking.
Google's policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://policies.google.com/privacy
Fokora requests no access to your contacts, your location, your microphone, your camera, your photos, your files or the list of your installed applications.
Fokora is not directed to children under 13.
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no remote copy of your data to ask us for. You can export everything (Settings → Data → Export), and you can erase everything, either from inside the app or by uninstalling it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the new version is published here before the corresponding app update is released.
