What Doneza does, and what that means for your data

Doneza is a task manager, calendar and reminder app. It keeps your tasks, events, lists, projects, subtasks, notes, checklists, habits and goals, sends you reminders, and measures your focus sessions. Every one of those things happens on your device, and only on your device. Doneza has no server of its own, no account system and no synchronisation service. DoliMarketPlace never sees your tasks, your appointments, your notes or your statistics.

No account, no sign-in, nothing paid

Doneza never asks you to create an account or to sign in. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no trial period. Every feature — themes and colours, repeating tasks, the five home screen widgets, statistics, habits, goals and the focus timer — is available to everyone, free of charge. Advertising is what pays for the app.

Data saved on your device

What Doneza keeps between sessions is limited to: your tasks, events, subtasks, reminders, lists, projects, notes, checklists, habits, goals and focus sessions; and your settings (language, theme, accent colour, first day of the week, default reminder, timer durations). All of it is stored in the application's private storage and is removed when you uninstall the app. You can also erase everything at any moment from Settings → Privacy → Erase everything. A backup file is written to your device first, so that an accidental tap is not irreversible.

Data you choose to send somewhere else

Doneza can write a backup as a readable JSON file, and can export your tasks as CSV or your calendar as an ICS file. Those files go only where you send them, through your phone's own sharing menu. Doneza does not upload them anywhere, and keeps no copy.

Notifications and alarms

Task reminders and habit reminders are scheduled locally by your phone. No notification content leaves your device, and none of it passes through a server. On Android, Doneza asks for permission to schedule exact alarms so that a reminder set for 9:00 arrives at 9:00 rather than whenever the system next wakes up. If you refuse, reminders still work, but they may arrive late — the settings screen says so plainly.

Permissions

Doneza requests notifications (so reminders can reach you), exact alarms (so they arrive on time), vibration, and internet access (used only to fetch advertising). It does not request access to your contacts, your photos, your files, your microphone, your camera, your location, or the list of apps installed on your phone.

Advertising

Doneza shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To do so, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share: your device's advertising identifier, in-app interaction events, and diagnostic information such as crash reports. This is described in Google's own documentation and is declared as such on the store listing. Advertising is the only reason any data leaves your device, and no part of it contains your tasks, your notes, your appointments or your habits.

Google's privacy policy applies to that data: https://policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Consent, and how to change your mind

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Doneza shows you Google's consent form the first time it starts, and your answer decides whether the advertising you see is personalised. You can reopen that form at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences. On iOS, Doneza also asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before anything else; declining changes nothing about how the app works.

Children

Doneza is not directed at children under 13. It collects no name, no email address and no profile of any kind.

Analytics

Doneza contains no analytics SDK of its own. DoliMarketPlace receives no usage statistics beyond the aggregate figures that Google Play and the App Store show to every developer.

Your rights

Because Doneza holds no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf: everything is already in your hands. You can export your data from Settings → Backup and export, and erase all of it from Settings → Privacy → Erase everything. Uninstalling the app removes it too.
