Your boards never leave your device. No account is required to use anything, and there is no analytics. The one third party involved is Google AdMob, which shows the ads that keep Ardoza free — it never sees what you draw.
Everything Ardoza saves — your boards and their pages, imported images, your tool settings, your chosen language and theme, and a display name if you enter one — is written only to your device's private application storage. It is removed when you uninstall the app. We, as the publisher, never receive any of it.
If you sign up with an e-mail address, that address and a salted cryptographic hash of your password are also stored on your device only. Your password itself is never stored, and neither the address nor the hash is transmitted anywhere.
Ardoza works fully offline and, in this version, does not connect to any collaboration server: no board content leaves your device.
If a future version is configured to use a collaboration server, only the drawing operations of the board you have explicitly opened, together with the display name and cursor position you choose to share, would be transmitted, over an encrypted connection (TLS), to the participants of that session. Boards are reachable only by someone holding the session code or invitation link. No board content would be stored on our side.
Ardoza is free and is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads appear in two places only: a banner at the bottom of the board list and the dashboard, and occasionally a full-screen ad after you close a board. No advertising is ever shown on the board itself, so nothing can cover or interfere with your drawing.
To select and measure those ads, AdMob may read your device's advertising identifier and coarse usage data such as the country you are in and the ad formats you have seen. This is the only data any third party receives. Google AdMob never receives your boards, their contents, your imported images or your display name — those are never sent anywhere. Google's own handling of that data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form is shown before any ad is requested, and you choose whether ads may be personalised. You can reopen that choice at any time from Settings → Ads → Ad privacy choices. On iOS you are separately asked whether the app may track you; declining is fully supported and simply means the ads you see are less relevant.
You can also remove ads entirely for 24 hours by watching a rewarded video from Settings → Ads. This is optional: no feature of Ardoza is ever locked behind an advertisement. We use no analytics SDK of any kind.
Ardoza asks for access to your photo library only at the moment you choose to place an image on a board, and only for the image you select. It does not browse your library, and the image is copied into the app's own storage.
Ardoza is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. It is designed for teachers, tutors, students and professionals. It displays advertising, so we recommend that use by minors be supervised by an adult. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
The optional account you can create inside Ardoza exists only on your device: the address and the password hash are written to the app's private storage and are never sent to us or to anyone else. There is therefore no server-side account for us to delete.
To delete the account and everything associated with it, use either of these, both of which remove it permanently and immediately:
Both actions erase the account, every board and page, imported images and all settings. Nothing is retained afterwards, and there is no additional retention period, because we never held a copy. If you would like written confirmation, write to contact@dolimarketplace.com.
You can delete any board from inside the app at any time, and remove everything by uninstalling it or clearing the app's data in your device settings. Since we, the publisher, hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on our side. You can reset your advertising identifier, or ask your system to stop sharing it, in your device's privacy settings; you can change your advertising consent at any time from Settings → Ads.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
